Shampoo Bar Transition Period
When switching from detergent-based liquid shampoos to a natural shampoo bar, your hair and scalp may need time to adjust.
Commercial shampoos often strip away natural oils, encouraging the scalp to produce more to compensate. As you transition to a more balanced formula, your scalp gradually recalibrates its oil production. During this adjustment period — which can vary from a few washes to several weeks — hair may feel heavier, oilier, or simply different.
Some people notice no change at all, while others experience temporary tangling, increased frizz or a slightly waxy feel. This is a normal part of the transition and typically settles as your hair adapts.
Patience during this period allows your hair to adjust to a gentler cleansing routine.
How to Use
Wet hair thoroughly. Rub the bar directly onto your hair (three strokes back and forth is usually enough, depending on hair length).
Massage the hair and scalp to create a lather and leave in for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
Avoid getting lather in your eyes.
